Can Men Contract Yeast Infections
With all the attention of yeast infections being concentrated on the womenfolk, one can be misled to think that yeast contagion is a female infection. It is exact ladies are more prone to yeast infection, mostly owing to Candida Albicans, the agent that causes yeast infection, lies in the female genitalia. But this is not to say that men are exempt from contracting the infection. Male yeast infection is the greatest misinterpreted and neglected problem nowadays.
Usually, Fungus Candida Albicans is believed to grow well in a damp and warm surroundings in the body, for that reason, men as well can get yeast infections. Men are mainly infected by yeast because of copulation with a yeast infected mate. Unprotected sex will mean that yeast from an infectious female will be sent through the urethra to lodge at the prostrate gland.
More often than not, male yeast contagion is easily recognized as a manageable penile contamination with dry, aching, cracked skin, particularly when the man has an erection.
The basis of male yeast contagion, which strikes both the youthful and the elderly, are identical to those of other fungus infections, sex included, but to the sexually engaged age group. This is the consequence of a lack of balance of the yeast and bacteria proportion in the digestive system, which creates a conducive environment for the yeast fungi to flourish and disperse to many other ‘accommodating’ parts of the body.
A depleted immune system, sex, wheat and corn goods, barley, peanuts and alcoholic beverages are part of the the known sources of male yeast infections. As a consequence of a male yeast contagion in the body, men and boys would acquire a longing for such foods as pastas, sweets, chips, that will assist to sustain the fungus, as it typically demands to be nourished. And till the time when men will find out they have this infrequent, unexpected infection, they will continue reproducing the parasite by continuously nourishing it.
